POSITION SUMMARY: Consultative field educator and technology expert responsible for providing field guidance and assistance on the safe and most effective best practice(s) use of OrthoSenso! r products. Develops and maintains best in class business relationships with surgeons, staff and hospital administrators focused on ensuring fast technology adoption and sustainable market growth. MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIESEducate and train physicians, hospital personnel and OEM manufacture partners regarding all matters related to effective use and best practices of OrthoSensor products. Field education includes: oOne-on-one training sessionsoIn-service education programsoBioSkill LabsoSeminars and/or conferences Provide technical product expertise to ensure proper device selection and use in the OR Liaison between corporate and customer to ensure all launched account technical issues are addressed working with operations, field service engineers, and salesReceive technical inquiries, voice of the customer complaints (VOC) and provide prompt and accurate complaint reports and support instituting appropriate solutions per the requirements of OS quality systemProvide customer! requirement- product suggestions to product management and OS! marketing team encouraging product enhancements, and future technology development opportunitiesIncrease physician, hospital and OEM partner interest and adoption of OrthoSensor technology Drive incremental surgical volumes at account(s) by identifying additional surgeon users on staff Retrieve / receive any purchase orders and manage product and instrumentation inventories (consignment/trunk stock) when necessaryFrom time to time support field sales with surgeon or hospital administration calls and serve as an effective technology field expert.
Collaborate with OS field sales regarding region / account development and from time to time provide forecast inputPeriodically attend trade shows and conferences to maximize sales and market exposureOther responsibilities include: Maintain timely and accurate completion of all administration reports, tasks including entering account updates in Salesforce.Maintain current competitive knowledge of existing and impending int! raoperative instruments, image guided/ navigation, robotics and general orthopedic joint market developments Prepare and deliver customer training/education materials Develop deep understanding of hospital operational challenges associated with management of orthopedic devices to include point of use capture, surgical charting, purchasing, replenishment and billing. Develop basic knowledge of hospital information systems.Maintain open, effective communication with all OrthoSensor customers, partners and other OrthoSensor employees Perform other related duties as assignedPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation/ Experience / Skills: PA-C, or BA degree with a clinical background of 3+ year's experience required.Knowledge working with and in Operating Room environment required.Solid clinical and educational experience in Orthopedic or related medical device industry preferredAbility to work in a fast paced highly self motivated team oriented environmentExperience working with Salesfo! rce (Customer Relationship Management System Software preferred) Solid ! experience creating, implementing developing surgeon clinical staff education with new, disruptive technology Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Detail oriented and a proven history of ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment Must be able to meet and maintain Hospital credentialing requirements and adhere to OS- Environmental Health and Safety training, vaccination HIPAA certifications, etc.Must have the ability to articulate technical information in a clear and concise manner, both in written and verbal form.Experience with OS, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointAble to travel up to 60% of the time as needed to meet required objectivesMust maintain current driver's license.
