RN Licensed In The State of Montana Required
1-2 year of experience required
Current Healthcare Provider CPR
Qualified RNs presently employed will be given preference within the first seven (7) calendar days*
The Endoscopy RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the endoscopy setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor and positive role model for assistive personnel. The Endoscopy RN is knowledgeable in Gastroenterology and Pulmonary endoscopy procedures, disease processes, interventions and pharmacological agents.
Minimum Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current RN license in the state of Montana or eligible. One year of acute care nursing experience required within the past 3 years. Acute care experience must have been in a procedural, surgical or critical care area. Current BLS upon hire, Healthcare Provider BLS within 3 m! onths of hire, and ACLS within 6 months of hire. Completion of! Moderate Sedation course required within 3 months. Must be proficient in English. Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills are required. Current RN Montana License or eligible. , Registered Nursing License.
Preferred / Desired:
BSN, CGRN (Certified Gastroenterology RN) and ACLS preferred. Recent previous Endoscopy experience preferred. Current Healthcare Provider BLS. Registered Nursing License.
PALs required within 6 months of hire. Position requires crosstraining and floating to other procedural areas such as Radiology, OPS and PACU. Current experience (within 6 months) in Endoscopy, Surgery, OPS, Radiology or otehr procedural area required. Call will be required.
Every third weekend
This position is subject to Drug and Alcohol Testing according to MT Law
