The Turek Clinic is an internationally renowned, fast-growing medical and surgical practice specializing in male fertility and sexual health. We are a cash-pay, concierge practice with two clinic locations: Beverly Hills and San Francisco.

We are currently seeking a take charge, results-oriented individual to join our Concierge Team as a Patient Acquisition Representative with Surgery Scheduling abilities. This role will serve as the brand ambassador and first point of contact with prospective patients and referring physicians, working along side an additional Patient Acquisition Representative, as well as supporting our main Surgery Scheduler when she is out of office. Candidates must have a proven track record in sales and lead conversion. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, confident, considerate, relatable, credible, have high integrity, a strong work ethic, and be committed to making a difference in the lives of patients seeking our services. This position requires utilization of clinical knowledge to schedule appropriate procedures/surgeries per provider’s orders. In this position you will, at times, be required to schedule office based and hospital procedures consistent with the patient’s diagnosis and procedure request. Also, this position requires excellent customer service skills with patients, employees, and the public, serving as liaison between patient and surgeon, facility, preop staff, etc. You must be able to respond to both written and oral correspondence regarding scheduling changes/cancellations in a timely, accurate manner. Individual must be organized and be able to manage demanding workload with accuracy.

Main Responsibilities for Patient Acquisition Representative:

  • Manage the concierge patient experience journey from start to finish.
  • Convert leads by providing prospective patients with information about our services, industry-leading expertise, and the advantages to our unique approach to care.
  • Book clinic consultation visits and procedures while building rapport with prospective patients.
  • Consistently seek new patients, and regularly develop a high conversion rate of prospective patients.
  • Meet and exceed defined incentive goals.
  • Work successfully in a small team environment, always maintaining respect and leadership.
  • Work effectively and closely with the marketing, public relations, surgery scheduling and clinical care team leaders to develop and implement growth and market retention plans, ensuring ROI and 5-star customer experience.
  • Ensure consistency of branding and messaging in all communications across platforms.
  • Regularly report and/or coordinate the reporting of important metrics to leadership team, ensure optimization of ROI on outreach efforts.

Main Responsibilities for Surgery Scheduling:

  • Schedules office and hospital based medical procedures, for patients with appropriate provider and time/location slot, utilizing appropriate scheduling code.
  • Interfaces with appropriate nursing staff to ensure all necessary equipment will be on site for office and hospital based procedures, including scheduling with contracted anesthesia groups.
  • Enters notes/special instructions needed for scheduling in the electronic medical record.
  • Completes accurate documentation of informed consent with patients for procedures and surgeries as needed.
  • Provides accurate, detailed information to patients regarding test preparations, time of patients scheduled arrival, and any other directional information needed; takes appropriate action in responding to questions from patients.
  • Communicates with clinical staff to ensure patients have proper medical clearance and pre-surgical testing as needed.
  • Reviews discharge instructions with patients and ensures proper follow-up appointments are scheduled at the time the procedure is scheduled, when applicable.
  • Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that organizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated performance and initiative in driving measurable outcomes such as increases in sales, volume, and customer satisfaction.
  • A minimum of 3 years in medical field, inclusive of conversion optimization in a cash-pay environment preferred.
  • Experience in men’s health or adjacencies such as plastic surgery, cosmetic dermatology or dentistry preferred.
  • Ability to build rapport with prospective patients while communicating remotely.
  • Must be courteous and respectful to prospective patients from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds (e.g., international patients).
  • Professional demeanor, polished and poised in appearance (when onsite), with excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent follow-up performance and ability to articulate technical and medical information to prospective clients.
  • Ability to present calm and assertive in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Tech savvy, with experience with CRM and EHR systems and an ability to quickly learn and work with our EHR and CRM software.
  • Effectively manage responsibilities with time management to reach goals in a team setting.
  • Follows HIPAA guidelines always.
  • Surgery scheduling experience
  • Must pass background and drug screening tests.

Compensation:

$60,000-$85,000 inclusive of bonus opportunity, depending on experience and expertise.
