The AFRL/RQRO, Experimental Demonstration Branch seeks to hire a DR-1101-02 (GS12/13 equivalent), to serve as an Acquisition Program Manager at Edwards AFB, CA.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:

- Serves as Contracting Officer Representative for large contracts.
- Approves contractor work plans, oversees contractor performance, and process to add funding to contract.
- Serves as government work plan manager for some contract tasks.
- Verify contract work is within scope of contract.
- Works with PMs to track and verify contract financial execution.
- Approve high dollar contract procurement.
- Processes contractor on-boarding paperwork.

Required Qualifications
- United States Citizenship
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to present plans and ideas to leadership for decision making
- Ability to define and anticipate problems and strategize solutions
- Attention to detail• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
- Must have one year of experience at the DO-01 (or equivalent) grade level
- This is an Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) position requiring level 2-Practitioner, Non-Critical certification in Program Management (A). The selectee will have 24-months to meet APDP requirements or a waiver must be obtained.
