Clinical Supervisor

Location: Kalispell Montana

Description: Kalispell Regional Medical Center is at the momment seeking for Clinical Supervisor right now, this career will be placed in Montana. Detailed specification about this career opportunity kindly read the description below. Responsible for clinical supervision and leadership of clinical providers. Provides clinical leadership,
supervises and coordinates clinical activities to provide a safe patie! nt care and therapeutic environment
in a positive, professional manner. Promotes positive relationships for staff, families, referral sources
and patients. Recommends and develops policies and procedures, maintains staffing, and other
supervisory functions. Performs clinical duties regarding safety, admissions and medication as well
as other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. CMA, or LPN, RN or RT License as required by state guidelines.
2. Minimum five years experience in similar position within a medical setting (e.g., physician
office, clinic, or hospital) preferred.
3. Knowledge of clinical functions and principles in a medical practice setting.
4. Knowledge of supervisory, human resources, and quality improvement principles and techniques.
5. Minimum three years experience in clinical position, preferably in medical practice setting.

Job Duties:
1. * Performs general clinical duties, specia! lty procedures. Develops, implements and revises
individua! lized, goal directed clinical care to patients through the use of the clinical process as appropriate
for the clinic setting.
2. * Demonstrates an ability to respond to a changing workload in a positive and professional manner.
Responds to changing workloads and patient conditions by: remaining calm, making objective assessments,
prioritizing, and asking for assistance when appropriate.
3. * Formulates, implements, and evaluates care plans.? Updates care plan as necessary.
4. * Provides individual instruction to patients and their families concerning medications, health
and medical needs.? Provides timely, accurate and professional documentation according to facility policy.
5. * Clinical Staff of Physician clinics have clerical responsibilities that include but are not limited to the

following:
a. Organizes processes to greet patients and escort them to the exam/procedure rooms.
b. Oversees systems to triage pa! tient telephone calls and meet patient needs.
c. Coordinates the scheduling of patients with providers, and oversees systems to schedule patients
for surgery, ancillary tests and procedures as directed.
d. Assists clerical staff in all clinically/medically related phone calls.
e. Assists in triage telephone answering, and other duties needed to provide better customer service.
f. Understands ICD-9 and CPT coding to facilitate accurate billing.
6 *Responsible for supervision and evaluation of clinical staff. Participates in the interview process for
clinical staff and employee reviews.
7. Participates in budget discussion for clinical needs.
8. *Safety Officer and OSHA Officer.
