Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - (CRNA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 06/03/! 2013Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Great CRNA opportunity at a small hospital in Montana for summer coverage! Our client needs a CRNA to provide coverage for the first week in June. They'll be working with one other CRNA. Bread and butter cases including OB and pediatrics. No hearts and no heads. There will be call 3 of the nights. Travel and lodging will be provided.
A certified registered nurse anesthetist (locum tenens) administers anesthesia in surgeries as required by, or in the absence of, an anesthesiologist physician. A CRNA will look at patient history in a preoperative setting in order to determine an optimal course of action, choosing the techniques and drugs that best suit the patient's unique physiology and medical history. During surgery, it is the CRNAs job to administer anesthesia and manage the patient's reactions accordingly.
