Additional Job Information: This position is a Full-Time, Non-Exempt role and the ideal candidate will work from Monday to Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM PST. Training is held in our Anaheim office for approximately 7 weeks. Telecommuting/Remote work is offered for this role after the training period, but the candidate MUST have the flexibility to work from our Anaheim corporate office, when needed. This position has a salary range of $21.00-$28.00 per hour. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications. This position is responsible for processing correspondence related to requests for leave, and the creation of written correspondence that conforms to our client’s documentation and quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities:- Responsible for responding to requests for leave. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Providing exceptional customer service by exhibiting a high sense of urgency, exceptional follow up and follow through and positive communications, both verbally and in writing.
- Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and conformance to the workflow process before moving case to the next level.
- Demonstrating attention to details as well as thoroughly reviewing documentation through WorkCare’s case management system.
- Identifying issues and concerns as they arise and bringing them forward to the supervisor to develop a plan for resolution.
- Responsible for writing letters and other business-related documents. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Reads source documents and creates letters based on leave information and recommendation.
- Composes correspondence in a clear and concise manner.
- Fully reviews all aspects of leave requests and makes recommendations that are consistent with the client’s policies and procedures.
- Performs additional duties and assumes additional responsibilities as identified by supervisor for the efficient operation of WorkCare.
- Education and Experience
- High school degree required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Some college course work preferred
- 2 years’ experience working with federal and state leave of absence administration preferred
- Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) knowledge a plus

- Proven ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
- Critical thinking skills a must
- Make independent decisions in accordance with company policies and procedures; and take initiative various issues that may arise
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, at all levels of the organization
- Must have knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar
- Must have the ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports and/or presentations
- Computer Skills
- Strong PC skills (including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn new software as needed

- Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.
- Some bending and stretching could be required.
- Working under stress and use of computer/phone required.
- Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.
- Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

- Mainly indoor, office environment conditions.
- The noise level is usually moderate.
- Air quality is good and temperature is controlled.
- Work Environment must be free from background noise and distraction, noise level is acceptable, temperature is controlled. At home set up must meet all Company IT, privacy, and safety requirements.
