Description: Great Falls Clinic is currently seeking to employ Accountant I right now, this job will be settled in Montana. Position Overview: Responsible for assisting the general functions of the Accounting Department for the Great Falls Clinic, GFC Hospital and GFC Surgery Center. Functions will include assisting the accounting department, managing spreadsheets, record bankin g transactions and cash manager entries, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end review and reporting, provider production, backup for payroll and accounts payable, as well as many other accounting and general duties.
Shift: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Minimum Education and/or Experience Required:
Education: Associates in Accounting required, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Knowledge & Skills: Ability to operate computer hardware and software. Strong Excel skills and ability to effectively use a 10-key calculator, telephone system and e-mail. Ability to solve problems related to accounts payable, banking transactions, accounting issues and payroll backup. Ability to interact and communicate other staff, management, vendors, providers, staff and other business contacts.
Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: 2+ years accounting/finance experience
Licensur e/Certification Required: None
