Benefis Health System in Great Falls, Montana is seeking a BE/BC Urologist to join Benefis Urology and serve the community of Great Falls and North Central Montana. We presently have three urologists employed by the Benefis Urology†part of a larger multi-specialty medical group employed by the Benefis Hospitals . Our specialty certified urologists perform in office minimally invasive surgical procedures, including no-scalpel vasectomy, Trus biopsy, and Prostate Fidu! cial Placement. They perform outpatient surgical procedures at! Benefis Hospital that include extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy, TURP, Vasectomy Reversal, Penile implant, Circumcision, DaVinci Robotics, and Interstim Therapy.
Benefis Urology clinicians also collaborate with Benefis Sletten Cancer Institute to provide continuity of care for urology patients. Benefis urologists have a strong referral base from over one hundred Benefis Medical Group providers and additional support from local and regional providers.Our commitment to excellence in quality has been recognized with Benefis Hospital rating in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for eight of the past nine years and One of America†s 100 Best Hospitals in 2013. Equipment/Facilities: Benefis Health System maintains state of the art facilities. Benefis Hospitals has 516 beds at its two campuses (that includes 146 beds in long-term care and 12 beds at Peace Hospice of Montana) and partners with over 250 area physicians.At Benefis Hospitals, we're proud to be among the! first in Montana to offer da Vinci® Robotic Surgery for a multitude of surgical proceeds including prostatectomy and hysterectomy.Work Hours/Call Coverage: Benefis Urologists have outreach clinics every other Wednesday, one Tuesday and one Thursday per month.
When on call, physicians receive an average one call per week. Hospital patients are admitted by Hospitalists and take direction from specialists on appropriate action. Call is 1:4 and shared with a 4th Urologist. Weekend call averages one weekend/month, so a physician can still fish and continue to enjoy the quality of life Montana provides etc..
