Summary of Candidate Qualifications
Duties include diagnosis, care and treatme! nt of pediatric ambulatory care patients and emergency cases in the capacity of a senior specialist. Interviews and examines the pediatric patients and reviews past medical history. Requests or performs diagnostic tests deemed necessary to obtain all possible information related to each case. Makes preliminary diagnosis. Provides treatment or arranges for specialized care of pediatric patient based on knowledge and skills and prescribed policies and procedures. Conducts pediatric outpatient clinics making observations appropriate to the outpatient underlying disease and treatment plan. Works with other allied health professionals. Requires moderate exerting and stamina and may be required to move or lift patients from time to time.
Licensure
Must possess completion of an approved 3-4 year residency of other accredited training in pediatrics or combination of such training with appropriate experience. Must be board eligible with option to be board certified! in Pediatrics. Must be skilled in the diagnosis and treatment! of pediatric patients.
Availability
This assignment will begin 8/15/13 through 9/30/14. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM â€" 5:00 PM, no on-call required.
