Performs various procedures utilizing a variety of radiographic equipment. Provides care to patients, ranging ! in age from neonatal to geriatric, being mindful of their physical and psychological needs. Will perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
2. ARRT & MSRT Certification Required.
3. One to two years of radiology experience with competent knowledge of Orthopedic imaging and positioning preferred.
4. Current CPR.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy in the context of Radiology and demonstrable knowledge of all Radiology procedures.
6. Professional communication skills, both verbal and written. Competent computer abilities with regards to communication and the use of modern radiology equipment.

Job Duties:
1. Accountable for Orthopedic Imaging by applying correct and efficient use of current digital X-ray technology.
2. Will work directly with Surgical department to template pre-op films for the Orthopedic Surgeon through the administration of! Special Post processing imaging and all alignment images via ! X-ray computer server.
3. Morning set-up of equipment, daily maintenance, warm-up, evening shut-down, and scheduling of personnel using equipment is a required function of the Rad Tech.
4. Maintain the Orthopedic database and produce patient/provider Image CDs. The records/logs of all films will be kept up to date and organized. File room duties include the storing of films/CDs for scheduled appointments and loading discs onto PACS for surgical reference.
5. Properly analyze film quality and exposure for every exam.
6. Collaborate with KRMC/FVCC Radiology program to assist with training of X-ray students during the Orthopedic rotation.
7. Skillfully manage high volume and continuously changing workflow/environment by exhibiting professionalism in all interactions with patients, peers, and supervisors.
8. May be required to take call during Saturday Sports Clinic or other times as needed by the department.
